About Rathpeacon GAA & LGFA

Rathpeacon is a small village located just north of Cork City on the Old Mallow Road. There is a national school, community hall and pub on one side of the village, with the main pitch for the club on the other side, separated by 'The Schoolmaster's Lane'.

Rathpeacon GAA Men's teams play in the SeandĂșn division in Junior B hurling and football. This year we fielded a second team in Junior C Men's football for the first time in six years. THe club is growing and both hurling and football are benefiting.

We started our underage LGFA teams in 2022 and the club has since gone from strength to strength. The club has gone from only having two afult teams to having four adult teams (including our Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others team) and multiple underage LGFA teams. It is a proud time to wear the blue and white of Rathpeacon!

Our underage boys play their football and hurling with Blarney G.A.A., our close neighbours and friends. Many of our current players have come through the underage ranks at Blarney, and we hope to welcome back many more in the future.

If you are interested in hearing more about the club or might even be interested in joining one of our teams, please go to the 'Contact Us' page or DM us on one of our social media pages.
